      Natan’s Famous (in Derwood, New York, Jerusalem and Tel Aviv) Spicy Crockpot Chili Recipe…

      Saute in sauce pan: 1 large onion (diced), 1 large red bell pepper (diced), several garlic cloves (minced or crushed). Brown in frying pan: 1 kilogram chicken or turkey (can be mixed). Combine the above in crock pot with:

      flour – 1 tablespoon
      paprika – 1 tablespoon
      chili powder – 1 tablespoon
      cayenne pepper – 1 tablespoon
      dried minced onion – 1 tablespoon
      dried minced garlic (or garlic powder) – 1 tablespoon
      rosemary – 1/2 teaspoon
      salt – 2 teaspoons
      ground cumin – 2 teaspoons
      white sugar or honey – 2 teaspoons
      za’atar – 1 teaspoon
      oregano – 1 teaspoon
      bitter chocolate – 1/3 bar
      beer – 1/2 can
      tomato sauce – 1 can (400 grams)
      butter – 30 grams
      tomato paste – 1 packet (100 grams)
      espresso (ground, as powder) – 1 teaspoon
      chicken soup (powder, with MSG) – 1 teaspoon
      parmesan – a sprinkle
      lemon juice – a dash
      schug – 1 spoonful
      arissa – 1 spoonful
      1 egg
      1 frozen basil cube

      Cook on low for about six hours or on high for between two to three.

      This makes five servings, each of which should be prepared with half a box of pasta and parmesan.
