Almost immediately after writing here about my problem with PIctureSync, I got an email back telling me that the issue was caused by Apple’s hated and buggy OS 10.5.6 update, and that I should check PictureSync for updates and then restart the program. I thought I’d already checked for updates, but I did as instructed and it worked splendidly. Problem solved!
Everyone with a Mac and a digital camera, which by now probably includes most of the people I know, should look into PictureSync. It’s really a great program and I’ll be happy to continue using it in the future. And thanks to the PictureSync people for coming through for me.
