    Spanning Sync

I waited. Then I waited. Then I waited some more. Then, when I got bored from waiting so much, I tried waiting for a change.

Suddenly, Spanning Sync opened its public beta and, in a flash, closed it, preventing me from doing a magical, much-desired sync between my iCal and my gCal.

And so I went back to waiting, as the Spanning Sync people worked to fix their problems, but this time I was ready to pounce – checking about 20 times per day for the public beta to be reopened. And it was reopened. And I downloaded the software. And it was so freaking awesome.

If you use a Mac and, like me, you regularly spend many long hours in front of a non-Mac computer, I strongly recommend putting your entire life in iCal and then setting it to sync automatically with gCal using Spanning Sync (back up your data first). You so won’t regret it.
