Um, well, he’s got the hair, and did I see a necklace? But, where’s the shirt unbuttoned to the navel? Maybe the picture was taken in the winter. He has at least one great-grandson whom I know who is not an arse; he’s one the so-called “hilltop youth.”
I also know the grandson to whom you refer. When I found out about his relation to Trotsky, I spent days drawing connections in my head, eg, “founder of the Red Army … founder of _____” and “switched from Menshevik to Bolshevik … switched from _____ to _____.” What fun! Anyway, he is a hero to the Jewish people, but I think he’s just a little too old to be a hilltop youth! Let’s say he’s a hilltop youth-in-spirit.
